So I have this obsession with cycling snaking routes across the nearest countryside. Yesterday's route was a nice pattern where I never crossed my own path. It looks like a complex puzzle piece, doesn't it?
But that's not why I do this. I simply want to discover every place in the neighborhood, while having the flexibility to ride more or less than planned. It was less than planned this time. I felt tired, I hadn't been sleeping well this week.
The darker green area on the eastern side was a rural kind of park I'd never visited yet. After crossing under the railway, I noticed a vocational school with a generous amount of fields and buildings for its agricultural department. It covers a large part of this area:
I have a lot to complain about Dutch politics and culture, but we do give a solid education to kids who want to work with their hands.
Halfway I received this Parachutist badge from Fitbit, for climbing 1000 floors in total. They have funny awards.
Towards the end of my journey I was surprised to see this huge ad for some kind of hardware wallet Ponzi scheme:
