Yesterday I drove to my brother's place up north. For the first time in three years, his birthday party wasn't canceled because of a Covid wave.
I posted Saturday's report while stopping in the Veluwe forest and planning a detour, because someone crashed a Lamborghini Aventador into the median on my planned route.
That's how I passed by a small town called Ens.
I had to take a look there, simply because the name reminds me of the Ethereum Name Service.
I had too much fun being on the road again, and I took a wide detour to avoid roadworks in the city of Groningen. That's how I managed to walk 5000 steps on a car trip.
Here I was at the Lauwersmeer lake near the Wadden Sea. The villages on the road across the Hogeland area after this were nice too. I should have taken my dash cam.
I arrived just in time for dinner, after driving for 5 hours instead of the usual two and a half hours.
