The weekend before a three-day heatwave was a good time to be outside. On Saturday I went to the gym, where I enjoyed sweating for other reasons than the weather. I squatted 5kg above my PR and lifted 10kg more on the leg press. No, it wasn't leg day but push day actually.
On Sunday, I rode my bike to a park on the other side of the city for a picknick with friends. I didn't take pictures there, so you'll have to make do with a photo of the cookies I baked for them. They're mostly younger folk, so I act like their abuela.
By the way, I did lose weight by eating a dinner of only lentils and olives, and I did not gain weight by eating the cookies I had to taste. (I actually decided the ones without peanuts were too thick and left them at home.)
I also take care of the local wildlife. I'll make sure that the magpies have water to drink and to bathe in. Although they seemed to have learned recently that it isn't smart to bathe in your drinking water. I like that they visit my balcony every day, despite being shy towards people.
