Hi guys! Thanks for stopping by!
Sleeping in is a wonderful thing! That is exactly what I did this morning.
When I checked my phone I found a message from our son. I called him and he is unfortunately sick. Hopefully not with coronavirus but we are waiting for the results. 🙏🙏🙏
Eventually,we set out for our hike. It rained most of the morning and into early afternoon, but except for a couple of places, it was as if the water had been sucked into the dirt. It wasn’t muddy like I was expecting it to be.
We are beginning to see tiny pockets of flowers beginning to bloom. The Oregon grape with its lemon yellow color blossoms are the most of what you see right now.
Actifit-Lamb took her respite during the hike nestled on a tree trunk caught by another tree. The perfect spot to take a break in.
Upon our descent, we stopped at the first dip in the road where the skunk cabbage grows. It is emitting an oh so wonderful skunky smell 😖 and has grown to an amazing size already! The leaves are close to 18” tall. Maybe more as I wasn’t going to get much closer.
A little dinner and some blogging and I am ready for bed. That’s gonna be it for now. Keep on steppin’! Please be safe and stay healthy and have a wonderful evening!❤️👣💪👍❣️
