Hey everybody and thanks for stopping by!
To go or not to go - that was the question. I’ve learned to wait and see when it comes to what’s going on for the day. We were uncertain whether or not we would stay home and hike or go to the store. Ah, but you see, 
Hive account@silvertop had an agenda. He needed a new wheelbarrow and Home Depot was the ticket. So he said ‘ if you want to go shopping’........
First stop was Walmart for a few items. Being a long term ex-associate entitles me to a lifetime 10% discount. Even if I were to pass on from this world, Hive account@silvertop would have the benefit for the rest of his life.
After that, we headed to Sierra Trading Post as they have the best hiking socks and Hive account@silvertop was in need of some new ones. On the way up to the door I spied this odd yellow Ford pickup with the strangest grill ornament on it.
The plates said Oregon state 👀
Next, it was on to Home Depot to get the coveted wheelbarrow. Hive account@silvertop was dismayed to find the one with the ‘no flat tire’, tire wheelbarrows were all out of stock in their home. So he was going to leave. I didn’t work 20 years in retail for nothing! I checked online, and it said there were 14 on hand in our store. So, I went in search of someone to help. He looked at my phone and then scanned the label and found that they were all the way up at the top of the steel, next to a support post for the building. Not an easy retrieval with a forklift! But he was a good sport and said he’d get someone to get it down. I went back into the store looking for an Amaryllis bulb (I found it) and went back out. I was in the store for about 30 minutes and decided to go back out to check the progress. The same guy had a forklift and was working at it. At one point I actually had to look away as I was sure he was going to drop the pallet. He didn’t and we got the wheelbarrow. On to Costco!
We found these for Jan.
After we were done there, I needed to run into Fred Meyer’s as they are the only place that carries Kroger brand pumpkin pie spice. I can’t use any other. We used to buy this same brand when I was a little girl, and there is just no blend like it.
Finally! Time to go home. I am tired, but 3-4 week’s worth of shopping is done! Oh darn.....we need to go to Dollar Tree!
