Rain is the word of the day as boy, did we get it! I woke up to a steady drumming on the skylight this morning. Generally, it did what I call a ‘peppery’ rain for about 98% of the day. The other 2% was a misty rain.
Bible study today was called off originally because I was supposed to be headed out to look for the lost lake up the Gold Mine trail, and another gal was not going to be able to attend either. I guess our attempt to find Lost Lake will be a weather forecast dependent adventure going forward.
That left not a lot on the agenda for the day. The only thing I wanted to do was go to DollarTree to start gathering materials for an 
Poor Cot-he was sitting on the runner; the very path I was pacing on. I was reading an ebook as I pace to break the monotony, and consequently I tripped over him. Fortunately neither he nor I was injured!🙀. Poor little kitty!
After I was done, I cut up cheese and summer sausage for dinner with crackers. I also whipped up a 2 loaf batch of pumpkin bread.
Soon it will be time for bed as tomorrow brings my Monday workday on Wednesday.
