Happy weekend friends. I visited my neighbor's pepper farm today and seriously, I was excited with the produce.
It was like a joke when he said he was going to try pepper on his farm this year. We actually discouraged him because no one around here tried farming pepper before.
He has been asking me to come and check the farm for sometime now but I was not able to follow him due to my schedule. I finally made time and followed him today and I am glad I did.
Although it is a small portion of land, the produce was massive. If anyone had told me that pepper would yield here, I would have argued but I saw the evidence today.
Going to that farm taught me a big lesson; It is very wrong to discourage people whenever they want to start something. The fact that you have done it and failed or you have never done it before doesn't mean that it is not possible.
Imagine that my neighbor listened to us and refused to try pepper, he would not have gotten the yield he has and might probably not discover that pepper actually produces well in this region too.
There's nothing wrong with trying, if you can think it, if the idea is in your head, give it a shot, if it works fine, if it doesn't it's still fine. It's better to try than not to and have regrets.
My Saturday was very choked up. I had a lot of activities, I went to the farm, when I came back, I split fire wood and washed dishes. It was such a busy day, but thank God I scaled through.
I was able to do my daily workout but I didn't go for a walk this evening because I was tired but hopefully, tomorrow, I will pay my debt.
Thanks For Reading
