Despite the forecasts, the day started off pretty sunny. Therefore I decided to hurry and go out for a walk to the Pancava falls. I got the car and then went in a chairlift that is used for skiing in the winter. Once I was on the top, it started drizzling. Not too bad, since I'm not made of sugar. The further I got however, the harder the rain became. I wasn't well prepared and had only a jacket that let the rain (almost) straight through. At least I learned another lesson today. I did go through to the falls of course and made this picture:
I suppose that you normally have a great view, but not today...
I quickly headed back to a place where I could dry a bit and get something to eat. Nice bonus that there was a bus that could bring me halfway on the way back. In the end it turned dry, so the way down was quite enjoyable. To finalize up the trip, here is a nice view at one of the rare not so clouded moments:
Back at the hotel (and after needing at least 15 minutes to get the car to charge) I took a nice warm shower before getting back into the car for another drive. Just to kind of a random location in order to stay dry and enjoy driving again. And joy was what I got! How great to have such a responsive and easy to handle car on mountain roads! In B-mode you almost don't need the brake pedal at all.
I always thought that if I would buy a car, it should be an electric one. Now I'm really sure! I guess I should make another update on my progress towards the Model 3 as soon as I get home...
