The day started still a bit dark and even with some rain. Therefore I went to Donaueschingen, supposedly the source of the Donau river. Here is the Donaubrunnen:
In the afternoon it cleared up, so I decided to go on a cycling ride. Only the second in my holiday unfortunately. I went to the regionally famous Kandel climb. Just over 10 km and with an 8.6% average gradient. Not an easy climb I can tell you! Unfortunately the road over there was still very wet. It seems like the valley either attracts or keeps (rain) clouds very well, because it was also very misty on the top (sorry, no brilliant view pictures this time). As usual, here are the full stats:
In the evening I went to an adjacent town for dinner. The first restaurant was fully booked, but fortunately there were some more. A big bonus was that there was a charger that worked with my charging RFID, so I didn't need to charge too much at the hotel anymore.
Tomorrow another travel day, but only a small one. I hope to be able to do some cycling around the new location, so just check my blog again tomorrow to see where I ended up.
