Instead of nice snowy landscape, this.
At least first two runs on Zauchensee side were smooth enough. Even then the incoming crowds were felt. When we moved to Kleinarl side the shock of tourist invasion struck. It was like all Dutch people started skiing today in Flachauwinkl.
Somehow we managed to put in a couple of runs but were in constant danger of colliding with skiers that were meandering downhill like snails.
Sorry, this was too much for me.
The solution? Early coffee break, of course.
So we finished skiing at 2 pm, had lunch at Frauenalm hut, skied downhill for the last time, walked the dogs, packed our van, and went home.
Now, three days of break. After New Year we will find something less crowded to ski, hopefully.
