It was hot today and the boys and I spent a good amount of time in the creek. In the afternoon R wanted to go to the tunnel so we went down for a while. The damned mosquitoes are just intense after the wet spring and we had trouble balancing enjoyment and slapping at our bodies as we felt the tickle of vampire feet.
I didn't want the dog with as the neighbor's kids were playing downstream and the dog would make the water brown wth his splash bite. Instead we gave him a pool of his own that is closer to the house and now the boys can take him down to cool off multiple times per day in the heat.
