Caution over cavalier saved my.garden today when taking down the first of 5 trees on the farm.
I cut through all but a sliver but my wire tension line held it vertical until I pounded 3 metal wedges into the cut, then it dropped. Most of it is bucked and tomorrow 2 more trees come down.
