Hello everyone !
Brasov is located in the heart of the Transylvania region among the Carpathians and is a great starting point for walking and exploring (,
) Transylvania.
The Black Church (Biserica Neagra).
One of the most popular things to do in Brasov is to visit the Black Church.
It is the largest Gothic church in Eastern Europe, and the baked black shadow on its walls, caused by a fire in the distant years, gives it an even more mystical appearance.
After the fire, some parts of this church were rebuilt many times.
Bound Street (
Strada Sforii)
Probably one of the narrowest streets in Europe is located here in Brasov. Its width is only 1.3 meters. This is his entire characteristic. But it is a great place to take nice pictures.
Union Square (Piaţa Unirii),
The Unification Square is located south of the Town Hall Square - on the border of the Old Town and the Shkei district.
Saint Nicholas Church
It is an Orthodox stone church dating from the 16th century,
visible from the square. Inside there are beautiful murals painted by local artist Mișu Popp.
If you want to see a holistic panorama of Brasov,
go to the tower which is located in the town council square called Piazza Sfatulu.
Buildings from different historical eras are located on the square.
Brasov City Hall
We had a lot of fun.
unfortunately, what we saw was a small part of the wonderful Brasov. We hope to return soon to continue the tour.
Enjoy !
10x for the support!
