(Here is another snapshot from my walk in Berchtesgaden last Saturday. Little details like this along the path always put me in a good mood.)
Hi Actifitters,
since I consumed significantly more calories than I burned at the birthday party on Saturday—with all the cake and barbecue food—a few of those calories had to be neutralized yesterday. Moreover, yesterday was Mother's Day, which meant a few more calories had to be factored into the equation.
So yesterday—in addition to a relatively high step count—I also clocked 50 kilometers on the indoor bike. All told, I burned just over 4,000 calories yesterday. For a Sunday, that’s really quite impressive.
Unfortunately, I have to drive into the office today, as two dreaded in-person appointments await me. Consequently, there isn't much time left for exercise. However, I dragged myself out of bed extra early just so I could squeeze in at least an hour of pedaling before I set off. Sure, I could do something after work, but I can never seem to muster the motivation then—and doing strenuous exercise right before bed isn't exactly the best idea anyway.
