And all because I did something to prevent the rain from coming in to the chimney as no-one is using it. But the winter storm thought: "Hold my beer." And threw the cover and the bricks and everything down from the chimney and to the roof and and and... dammit. If I only would have thought a second, I would have realised that it would be a good idea to go and take it all away before the storm. Then the roof tiles would be intact and not broken. Shit.
I did fix other holes just by changing the broken tiles but not the one you perhaps found from the first two photos because it's pretty dangerous to go to the other side of the chimney. If even possible as the roof is icy.
The storm had thrown one of the covers from the barn roof down and the other one was loose but in order to replace the first cover I would need to take of the second so I cut all the ropes and took both covers away.
There they are. Covers. Under cover.
