Hello to everyone today I went to Tsuen Wan district and when every time I have the chance to come to this district I must to go to eat shrimp dumplings(wontons)
🥟 .
When I moved to Hong Kong many years ago I lived in building where in the ground floor they have this noodle restaurant selling many kinds of dumplings with noodles combined with other kinds of meat, for example: brisket beef, slice beef, fish balls, meat balls ,etc.
I used to eat more often this dish by those days because sometimes I was too tired to cook dinner after work and once I moved to another district I can’t enjoy much this dish even I have tried in some others restaurants because the taste is quite different, maybe because it reminds me of the times I lived here that makes special these shrimp dumplings for me.
According to the meaning of the menu before noon everyone can have a free cup of soy milk, and after noon If you want a cup of soy milk 🥛 then you need to add HK$1. But this is subject to the availability of soy milk because once finished they don’t provide anymore.
Of the things I like from this restaurant it’s because they prepare the shrimp dumplings by themselves so at least they are fresh; I have noticed that some restaurants use the frozen ones.
In conclusion, 🥟 Shrimp dumplings is one of the most popular, delicious and affordable dishes in Hong Kong. If you ever visit Hong Kong you shouldn’t miss the chance to taste this dish; but is better if you try them in the noodle shop restaurants because their taste are unique specially if those are prepared by themselves.
