Hello everyone, I always stop by a corner near home because there are some kinds of flowers almost constantly, and I like to see them; most of the time, I see bees, small insects, and butterflies there. I want to share some of the pictures and talk about mosquitoes.
Also, I have noticed that in some places, even though there are beautiful flowers, you won't be able to see any insects around there; this is because the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department sprays some poisoning chemicals to avoid mosquitoes and rodents, but we know this has consequences that kill even small insects and not pollinators around that area. By doing this, the government wants to prevent the spreading of malaria and dengue fever.
According to government information, there are around 70 species of mosquitos in Hong Kong.
I usually see these two kinds of mosquitoes here.
But it would be best to be more careful with the tiny one; the size of this one is around 1 or 2 mm, and the itching will last for a few days, and you will end up with a spot on your skin.
If you ever come to Hong Kong, remember to bring your mosquito repellent. Otherwise, you will be a fest for the mosquitoes. Hong Kong is a tropical zone, so mosquitoes are everywhere, especially in the summertime.
Thank you for reading my post and your support.
