Today I took a day off from the office because I need to renew my passport and went to my embassy in Sheung Wan station in Hong Kong island. It takes almost an hour by MTR from where I live.
When you visit the Sheung Wan area, one of the main attractions is the Western Market, this building is the oldest market in Hong Kong, and it was built in 1906; the building is still in use where you can buy fibre cloth and some restaurants, especially for weddings dinner.
In Sheung Wan area, you may also appreciate Shun Tak Centre, two almost twin red towers, a shopping centre and a commercial where the Hong Kong Macao Ferry Terminal is housed.
Hong Kong Macao Terminal is a fast boat to Macao or Shenzhen. The trip to Macao is approximately 1 hour, the quickest way to go to this city.
Sometimes when I want to do sightseeing, I prefer to take a holiday on a weekday, and then I can enjoy walking because on weekends you will find this place so crowded.
But walking in summer around the city is very hard, especially when there is sunshine, and the temperature is around 34 degrees Celsius. I was melting after walking for 1 hour, and even though I drank water, I still felt thirsty.
After walking for a while, I returned home because I couldn’t support the hot weather.
Thanks for stopping by here and for your great support.
