I have visited Choi Hung State; the location of this place is in Ngau Chi Wan, Kowloon district, and talking about this place is not just like talking about an ordinary state, but is more than that because Choi Hung State is part of Hong Kong's history.
Choi Hung State was built in 1958 and completed in 1962-1964, and it is considered one of the oldest public states in Hong Kong, still habitable by residents, around 18435 residents in 11 units.
What makes this state unique is its name, "Choi Hung", which means "Rainbow," and that's why the units are painted with rainbow colours; even nowadays, the colour is unclear. Another thing is this state was visited by Richard Nixon in 1964 (he was the 37th president of the United States from 1969 to 1974), and according to some news, he played Badminton with the state residents; another famous visitor to this state was Princess Margaret who was the younger sister of Queen Elizabeth II
In 1965, Choi Hung was honoured with the first Silver Medal of the HKIA(Hong Kong Institute of Architects) because of their high efficiency in terms of land use, and by that time, this state was one of the modern and largest states built in Hong Kong.
In 2016, a student photographer from the Open University of Hong Kong, named "Jimmi Ho Wing-ka ", won the "Hong Kong National Award, 2016 Sony World Photography Awards"; when the press interviewed him, he mentioned that he wanted to catch up with the moment of freedom on the kid playing in the playground because in Hong Kong Kids are pushed too hard by parents to study; even on weekends, they need to go to private lessons.
The MTR company named one of their stations with this state name because the metro station stops are typically named according to the designated place, but they made an exception and called it "Choi Hung Station".
In conclusion, Choi Hung State has become one of Hong Kong's modern heritage, and if you want to visit, you need to take the "Kwun Tong" metro line, get off at Choi Hung station and walk a few metres, and there you are.
