Jogging at GBK at night always feels nice and easy.
The sky was dark with thick clouds, but it didn’t rain. The stadium lights were bright, and the city buildings looked quiet in the background. People were everywhere, jogging, walking, chatting, just enjoying the night air.
I started at a slow pace. My body always needs a few minutes to wake up. The first lap is usually awkward, like my legs and lungs are still negotiating with each other. But after a while, it gets smoother. Step by step, breath by breath.
What I like about GBK is the vibe. You’re surrounded by people, but there’s no pressure. Everyone is doing their own thing. Some are serious runners, some just strolling, some probably here for snacks and vibes. It feels friendly without needing to talk.
Tonight wasn’t too crowded. Maybe people were still careful after the rain, or maybe it was just a quiet night. Either way, it felt relaxing. More space to move, more space to think, or just to zone out.
Jogging here doesn’t make me feel like a hardcore runner. It just makes me feel good. Like I did something small but positive for myself. No big targets, no competition, just moving my body and enjoying the night.
Sometimes, that’s more than enough.
