Yeah retirement, we wish! Especially with these far right governments trying to push it further and further forwards!
Although to be honest, I am semi-retired at the moment! Not intentionally, it's the menopause which is driving me crazy, for the 7th year now. I was on HRT but it wasn't helping much so I went to the gynaecologist and she was about to prescribe the stronger one, when I mentioned the mini-stroke I'd had in 2016 (I went blind in my right eye for 10 mins) so she said it was too risky to take the stronger HRT and I should stick to the ones I was on and put up with the symptoms. That was a blow! Then last month I was in the emergency room 3 times for a splitting headache which lasted nearly 3 weeks, they took my blood pressure and realised that it was high!! That was new to me as I've always had a low one, anyway hello blood pressure meds and bye bye HRT! Now I'm worse than ever, than before I started taking it, I can't work and barely have a social life! I just go out once a week for shopping and errands and that's it! The only way to get a few hours relief is to get drunk! So that's what I do once a month! I go out, see my friends and put my symptoms on hold by drinking, while I have a break! Of course daily drinking wouldn't be the solution! lol Fortunately, I haven't had the court hearing yet, so I'm still in my flat (and paying for it) and quite content to not socialise too much. lol It wouldn't be appropriate to strip every 20 mins in public!!! LMAO! It's the 7th year, so let's hope I'm near the end by now!

Climate change appears to be affecting us both it would seem, you're waiting for spring and here we completely skipped it! In April instead of being the usual 14C here it was 36C, that's VERY hot even for summer!!! It also didn't rain in the last two months so we're already suffering a drought in April!! This has never happened before, which is quite concerning! Here's hoping for some sun for you and some rain and cold for us!!! Sorry I had to strip quickly there! lol

I would have posted another 4 times last month, but for some reason my posts wouldn't go through; whenever I tried Actifit wouldn't work! Bad timing I guess, although I tried a lot and everything else was working fine! Then yesterday I finally managed to post, in fact it went through so fast, I didn't have time to blink! Funny that, with 3 photos too, who knows! Anyway I'll post when I can! ;)
