The day began with a simple yet warm atmosphere. I enjoyed my wife's homemade fried rice breakfast, accompanied by a cup of hot coffee, which felt just the right way to start the day. From that simple kitchen, I seemed to gather energy to tackle the activities that awaited me.
After breakfast, I immediately resumed my routine work, delivering bread to my favorite shops around Lhokseumawe. The morning journey was pleasant, navigating the streets that were starting to bustle with activity. Finally, I arrived at Pusong, where the fishing boats were moored. The scenery there always held its own charm—rows of brightly colored boats, neatly arranged nets, and a refreshing sea breeze.
As the afternoon approached, my activities shifted to more peaceful pursuits. I spent some time sewing caps for religious purposes. Although seemingly simple, this work brought a sense of serenity and was a way to unwind after a long day of outdoor activities.
I also took the time to visit the rice fields. There, I observed the condition of the rice plants, some of which had already been harvested, while others were still waiting for their turn. The cloudy sky adds to the unique atmosphere, as if reminding us that every process has its own time.
Today may seem ordinary, but it's full of meaning. From work, family, to the natural world, everything teaches us lessons about patience, hard work, and gratitude.
