I was feeling so sleepy in the afternoon but it wasn't my intention to take a nap I decided to take myself outside for a little walk while the husband started doing the laundry. He volunteered so why would I refuse? lol! Well, I helped him hang the clothes afterwards though. We always put them on hangers after the spin because it's easy to take them inside especially when the rain suddenly arrives.
Anyway, I went around the house and towards the backyard where I was surprised to see the passion fruit proudly fruiting. I am not sure how long for these to turn purplish (ripe) but I will probably enjoy some of them when they do.
Our yard here is looking so neglected after we spent a whole month at the other place. And with the rain being so plenty on most days, the weeds and grass have grown in various spaces.
The husband cleaned some of them the other day with the grass cutter but most that have grown between my plants and those with stones are still to be removed.
The afternoon was sunny so I took the chance for a stroll and proceeded to visit the citrus trees. As usual, they are with fruits and are flowering too. These are lemons by the way, two varieties - the regular and the other elongated.
Also had a bit of fun photographing the large fern. The sun was rather bright and I changed the phone camera mode to pro and it gave me this cold image.
Next was to check out the west side of the yard where most of the neglected plants are. I loved that the bonsai bougainvillea is already blooming! It's quite unexpected so yay!
Some colors were popping there too. Pinks, yeah!
Yellow? We got that too! Amazing to see this right yellow in the midst of greens.
There's too much going on here but I'm glad they are all thriving along with each other.
On a different time, I would have rolled my sleeves and got on to work but did not do that today. Instead, I went further and was delighted to see these tiny flowers with all the grass nearby.
Also good to see this white lily which found itself between the periwinkles (forgot to take photo of their flowers).
And more whites, yellows and greens under the coffee tree.
From there, I walked back towards the middle of the yard where I enjoyed these tiny blooms.
Even caught a cool shadow looking like a tripod, lol! And the gorgeous climbers are pretty as always!
I was out for almost an hour which is really nice! After enjoying all these, I came back to the house and helped the husband with the laundry. While writing this, I remembered that there's the art quest I'm yet to finish, lol!
Thank goodness, it's been a wonderful Tuesday.
Photos are my own. 20:55ph
