now look at that happy face! that is the how this inno is looking after a cardio day. that is also how it looks inside our gym's dressing room: not really for the claustrophobic but quite big enough for a quick change of clothes and touch up. there is really nothing fancy for me to do after my gym schedule, nothing else to do but sleep.
oh but before this, work was a bit hectic today. we were asked to investigate why data do not match when extracted from different databases (schema actually but i'm trying to be less nerdy about this). oh here goes a shortened but still long rant.
we spent quite a long time checking and figuring how this mess came to be only to find out that source tables were created on different months. wow! d**n these users! these tables were accessing monthly updated once, so why would they expect data to match when tables were created on different months? and the best thing, they themselves created the scripts for these, and they themselves executed these creations manually. gosh! and everything get's thrown to us just because we are in the system's development team.
end rant.
that probably fueled my blood at the gym. for the past month, i do other stuff during cardio day, mostly those which cannot fit in the regular programming. here is the program.
seated abdominal crunch machine (57kg x 3 x 12)
rotary torso machine (72kg x 3 x 12 per side)
a set each of the following with no rest between sets
- hip abduction (52kg x 3 x 12)
- hip adduction (38kg x 3 x 12)
treadmill uphill walk (level 11.5 incline for 1 hour)
this is were all those blood curdling went: a slight increase of 0.5 inclination at the treadmill. and oh my, that small figure was quite hard. i was not expecting any change to be honest but oh boy was i wrong. i was out of breath even on the first 5 minutes. my legs were more sore than usual. it was not how i expected this to be. just like in life, do not ignore even those small tiny minute details. these small details might cause big catastrophes. correct me if i'm wrong but a small conversion error from metric to english measurement (or was it the other way around) caused one of the early space missions to blow up at the launching. some thing like that. i am sure you get the point.
after that gym session, i had some pampering. a friend gave some masks as souvenirs from korea. and when is the best time to try these than now after some heavy water loss after cardio, right? these are hydrating mask as said on the label but i just don't know any other detail, i cannot read korean sadly. like any other masks, i put it on my face for 20 minutes. i will have to check the effect the next day but it certainly was refreshing. here is to better skin! (i don't believe that can be achieved overnight but that is a step.)
as always, AMPING KANUNAY MGA MAANYAG!
stay safe!
