Good day fellow actifiters,
This post is about yesterday’s workout routine. I wasn’t able to do a report because I had issues with my keys. It gave me a scare. Had to look everywhere to see what went wrong.
Anyway, I’ll just go ahead about the workout. I started by warming up my upper body with a 5 min stretch. Then I did some light bicep curls and tricep push-downs using resistance bands to help stimulate blood flow and not tire the muscles. After that, I stretched my wrist and did some wrist rotations.
For my workout, I started with inverted rows. I did 3 sets of only 10 reps, this is 3 reps less per set compared to last week but I did it slowly trying to engage my muscle more.
Next, I moved on to 3 sets of leg raises with 10 reps on the first set. This is a lot less compared to last week but this time I did follow the correct form in doing the exercise. Apparently, I was doing it incorrectly.
Then I did 3 sets of diamond push-ups with 10 reps. This is again 3 reps less per set compared to last week but like the inverted rows, I did it slowly, especially on the descend.
Then followed it up with Russian twists using the 1L Coca Cola pet bottle for the weight. I did 3 sets with 15 reps.
I finished the workout with glute bridges. Doing 25 reps on the first two sets, then 30 on the last set.
After the workout, I did a 10 min stretch for cooldown. A total of 399 KCal was burned on today's workout.
