I'm on Day 1 of my 30D ruck and started with level 2 calisthenics and 4.5kg. The first 7 "prep" days involve mostly calisthenics, swimming and short distances. I started with a good 1.3km as the night started to fall and all good!
The map gave me a 9min estimate one way but it took me 30 minutes to complete the trail. I had to stop by a couple of friends to spill some teaaaa
