Here in Minnesota, fall can often be in mid stride when winter descends upon us very suddenly. It is a little different every year. Normally we don’t get snow until around Thanksgiving. However, this year it arrived a few weeks before Halloween!
There is supposed to be more snow tomorrow. I will share more pictures then. Today we just had flurries all day, but it created a nice fluffy layer on all the leaves and twigs and branches.
The first one is the view out my back door. As you can see, my oak trees have many more leaves to drop. The rest are from my walk.
You might have to look closely, but every little leaf is dusted with snow.
It is especially visible on the evergreens.
I just love the juxtaposition of autumn leaves and snow.
