At last, she comes! Autumn has taken her time. Usually she comes along sometime In mid-September, but she decided to take her sweet time this year.
My husband and I went to our favorite park for a walk this evening. It was mostly cloudy, which made the fall colors deeper and more mysterious.
But now and then the sun shone through, or at least seemed to find a thin bit of cloud cover in order to illuminate our surroundings.
It really was a stupendous evening for a walk. I often find that overcast days are good for reflection, and they certainly make for interesting photography.
