If you have visited my blog before you probably know I walk around lakes quite a bit, and I have many of them nearby. (I live in Minnesota, “The Land of 10,000 Lakes.”)
I love them because they have wildlife, water birds, boats and kayaks and canoes, and the reflections of the sky and clouds, all of which somehow makes me feel light and free. I would literally consider prescribing it as an antidote to depression if I was a doctor!
So anyway, these pictures are all from my evening lake walk. I enjoyed seeing all the different vessels out there — including paddle boards, canoes, and pontoon boats.
It is the end of the season now and this particular lake level was very low. It looked to me like some of the boats were sitting in mud!
But I do like seeing all the water toys, the Adirondack chairs and fire pits on the edge of the lake and imagine having a house near a lake, with a dock and a pontoon boat. Unfortunately those homes are all twice the value of the ones a block or two away!
Well that’s all for this post. Thank you for visiting!
