I managed to get a bike ride in before making dinner this evening. Of course I had to stop from time to time take pictures.
I rode through my favorite park, which is now lush and green from all the spring rains and bouts of sunshine.
The path was underwater a week ago, so I was glad it has dried and is now passable.
The recent storms brought down some trees. They can be quite violent here, and in fact there were some tornadoes in the area.
But overall we are heading into the nicest season in Minnesota.
This is a little pathway connecting a neighborhood to another park I passed through. The white stuff on the ground is cottonwood fluff — another phenomenon in this area. Sometimes it looks like snow.
I found a scavenger hunt! It’s coordinated by the park system, I believe. I’ll have to check it out.
That’s it for this blog. Thank you for stopping by!
