What a day today
The day started with rain. Lots of it
After it stopped, strong, very strong south winds hit the island
It felt very strange and I had heard that we will need to be careful
Suddenly the atmosphere started to change
It got thicker
More and more sand was coming to the island
This is African dust and we always have it when the winds are south
But this was unbelievable
I had to do something and then I thought I should go take photos and videos
If you remember the island across, Dia.. today it was not visible at all
(This is on a different day)
Today the visibility was very low
We were driving with lights on, in the middle of the day
Having said that, I was happy to see the tourists that have visited our island to be so happy!
As time progressed, so did the phenomenon

I was out for almost 3 hours, I was not the only crazy one outside, trust me 😅🙏
This is from the car, when it started to rain red dust!
Guess what! I also visited the hotel near me. It is open and has a total different view now
It was nice to see it alive but felt sad for the fact they wil want to clean with water and will waste probably too much 😭
