Today I found out about a Japanese punk band from the 80s that I never heard of before. I was checking in with The Linda Lindas, an all girl punk band from LA that I've mentioned here before. I found a recent YouTube video of a Live performance of a song called Linda Linda. Makes sense that they would play a song with that title!
The video said the song was a cover version of the song originally done by The Blue Hearts. I looked them up in Wikipedia and also on YouTube. They are Okay but I prefer The Ramones or The Dead Boys or The Sex Pistols, when I want to hear early punk. The Blue Hearts do have a lot of energy, especially the singer! Here's their original version of Linda Linda.
MY ACTIVITY
was a food shopping outing and later my night time walk. It was warm out, 73 degrees Fahrenheit! I didn't need hats or scarves or hoodies tonight.
