I was driving today, listening to the Underground Garage on Sirius Radio when I heard a cool tune from the 50s. Its called Whistle Bait and its by Lorrie and Larry Collins known as The Collins Kids. This song has strong slightly distorted guitars and its a fairly fast tune. The girl sister Lorrie usually sang but 14 year old Larry was scream singing this one. Check out this crazy oldie which is only a minute and a half long. It has 76K views so although its new to me, apparently others knew it!
So apparently Lorrie Collins appeared on the Ozzy and Harriet 50s TV show which starred this couple and their 2 boys. One son was Rick or Ricky Nelson who had a lot of hits in the 50s and 60s. Lorrie and Ricky even dated for a little while I hear. So I will drop a Rick Nelson song here too, in a similar but more polished style called Be Bop Baby.
MY ACTIVITY
was some food shopping then walking at night when the rain stopped but the humidity was very high. So it wasn't a long walk and my number isn't high today.
