Today I saw that YouTubeStar Poppy dropped a new Official Visualizer video for her new song New Way Out. Poppy has 3 Million subscribers on YouTube so as expected the video has 85K views and 10K Likes in just 11 hours!
So the song New Way Out has a Indie Rock Pop vibe at the beginning. The drums might be electronic and there is a heavily distorted guitar or synth in there. Poppy is sounding mature as she has the last few years.
One may recall that she kind of replaced Mars Argo maybe a decade ago as Titanic Sinclair's music making partner. She was very subdued and mechanical in those early days doing cute pop songs. Now she has an Indie Rock Metal vibe and there is some screaming towards the end of this track. I feel that she is venting her internal demons as we all need to do at times.

today was moving around the office, moving around the kitchen as I made meals for relatives and then went food shopping.
It rained early in the eve so I thought I might not get to walk. But near midnight it calmed down and I did get out. It was warm and humid so I took a shorter route. The sky was clear and there was no rain, but I did not see the moon up there.
