I was listening to the Solid Gold Music station on Spectrum cable while eating dinner tonight and they played Sweet Little Sixteen by Chuck Berry. It reminded me of the fact that not too many years after it was a hit The Beach Boys borrowed the music and themes from the lyrics to create their hit Surfin' USA. It's still the summer and these are both fun summer tunes so let's listen to both of them.

My Activity
today was some food shopping as I went out to order Italian food from a local restaurant and get groceries at the supermarket next to it. I bought myself a nice meal in celebration of the sale of a vehicle which I have had for a while but today I sold it for a good price. I have a few other cars so I didn't need this one.
Before dinner I was at the pool swimming for an hour or so. As usual, lots of activity that doesn't show in my count because I am in the water and my phone is not.
At night I took my usual walk and again it was chilly enough for the white hoodie. I briefly saw the moon though trees as it was low in the sky.
Well we made it to the weekend!
