I was watching a YouTube video about new Punk bands and they mentioned The Chats. These 3 young guys are from Australia and the are a guitarist / lead vocalist, a bass guitarist and a drummer. The person making the video recommending The Chats said they have a Ramones vibe. This is about right. Both bands play fast short songs with the same instruments. The subject matter of the lyrics are simple comic book quality.
Here's a music video for The Chats song called Struck By Lightning. The band is in some building apparently ready to practice but there is an electrical storm going on outside. As they play their fast loud song each of the 3 members are affected in a different way!
If you are not a fan of Punk Rock then you can watch this short video at low or no volume to see what happens.
The Moral of the Story - Respect the power of Mother Nature!
My Activity
today was not much during the day, except to get up periodically and move around. I have been simulating rebounding (jumping on a mini-trampoline) by jumping around to music or marching in place or just bopping up and down like you might do in a pool. And I do that in the pool when I go there, among other things. Supposedly the up and down motion moves your lymph around, achieving some internal cleaning.
At night I took a nice walk. There were some very thin clouds in the sky, racing in front of the nearly full bright moon and it was strange to see the clouds moving so fast when I didn't detect a breeze down at ground level. Like last night, it looked like the moon was In Front of the clouds, closer to me than the clouds, but of course this is just another example of "things are not always what they seem'.
Another popular example is watching the sun move across the sky as a day goes by. You see it rise in the East, move continuously overhead, and finally set in the West. Pretty obvious that the sun revolves around the Earth if you just observe it, right? But....
I hope your weekend rocked! \m/
