Back with another music video by The Chats since I'm impressed with them and they're new to me. This one is called SMOKO. I had to look that up. Wikipedia says it is a mid morning break time.
Among sheep shearers in Australia, the smoko is a mid-morning break, between breakfast and lunch, in which a light meal may be eaten.

That explains the oft repeated chorus
I'm on Smoko, so leave me alone!
This is a mid tempo punk song, not super fast. It sounds like a cross between The Ramones and Green Day to me, kind of, maybe a little. :)
Guess how many views this punk rock music video from 6 years ago has...
21 MILLION Views!
This is not my favorite song by The Chats but it IS a lot of people's favorite I would image, since it is their most watched video. They are basically just standing around playing their song at a construction site, interspersed with clips of the guys eating, or trying to get through to Customer Service but they're on Smoko!
After listening to it once again, I think I'm hearing an influence from Black Sabbath's huge hit Paranoid. Are you picking that up from the chords and their structure?
My Activity
today was the daily nightly walk I always take. No moon tonight, too cloudy. We have a Tropical Depression passing over/near us. It was raining outside but I walked anyway. It wasn't a hard rain but it was steady.
Stay dry, stay safe, stay awesome! :)
EDIT: Looks like I posted my count from after midnight instead of from yesterday during the day. My count for yesterday was 8888. I got an error from the app mid way through writing it and had to start over but didn't select "Yesterday" - oh well!
