YouTube recommended this music video of a live performance by Coral Fuzz at the 2024 TRIPolis festival. They are covering a very old song called You're Gonna Miss Me which was originally a hit for the 13th Floor Elevators from Houston Texas in 1966.
Here's Coral Fuzz.
I like the guitar player, he has a lot of energy. You can see him run a lap around the stage before visiting the mic since he is also the singer. I wish there was a rhythm guitarist because the music needs it to carry the chords while the singer guitar guy rips into a manic solo. At the end the guitar man is doing strange things to his instrument and the performance loses coherence. Still pretty cool to hear such an oldie still played 60 years after it was a hit.
The Original
I found a cool live TV performance of the original by the 13th Floor Elevators. It's not really played live. The audio is clearly the record. But you get to see the guys and the excitement of the crowd. Oh oh oh yeahhhh!
My Activity
today was some daily movement as I got up to move my bod when I was sitting too long at my desk.
At night I did take my walk even though it was raining again. I stuck a ball cap on my head and put the hoodie's hood over that. No problem, I stayed dry. I walked a good distance despite the precipitation, almost getting 9K steps.
Have a Nice Day my friends! ❤️❤️❤️
