Yesterday I talked about a TV show with Mork from Ork and Fonzie. Today YouTube suggested some Dion DiMucci music videos to me. I like Dion solo and with The Belmonts.
Fonzie was a nickname but his real name was Arthur Fonzarelli. Probably from an Italian American family. If he were an actual person in the 50s and 60s when Happy Days was set, I bet he would like Dion the man and his music. They have similar levels of cool, similar thoughts about women and they even look similar.
The Wanderer
Check out Dion from 1961 in a movie (Twist Around the Clock) scene singing The Wanderer. The channel made a colorized version of the Black and White film using AI.
This is Sounds like it could be The Fonz singing those lyrics! What do you think?
Runaround Sue
Here is another clip that looks to be from the same movie. In this one, Dion is singing another of hit big hits, Runaround Sue.
Listen people what I'm telling you,
Keep away from Runaround Sue!
I Wonder Why
Going back 3 years to 1958, I found a clip of Dion and The Belmonts from some TV show, maybe American Bandstand, singing their big hit, I Wonder Why. It is up tempo Doo Wop and the crowd loved it!
My Activity
today was a lot of household activity. Moving around, getting things done for the family.
At night I managed a medium length walk on another hot summer eve. It was close to 80 out there but i went out as late as I could so the air would be a tad cooler. Not as cool as Dion or The Fonz, but...
Anyway, I hope you all had a great Friday. Here comes the weekend!
Have a Great Saturday!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
