YouTube made a playlist for me when I looked up kd lang's song Constant Craving which I talked about yesterday. It had a lot of 80s songs in the list including one of the biggest and most enduringly popular tunes ever. Maybe you can guess the song, or maybe you see it right there in this post's title!
About 40 years ago Simple Minds recorded Don't You (Forget About Me) and no one seems to be able to forget it. The song appeared in the end of a huge 80s movie called The Breakfast Club. Between the easy groove of the music, the imploring singing and the universal human desire to be remembered, the song lives on today still strong in our memories.
How strong? Well this music video has 377 Million views! And 1.8 Million Likes.
Don't forget about me, my friends!
My Activity
today was minimal. It is a Sunday for one thing, and the end of a long holiday weekend. Also I'm processing the loss of my godfather. There has been a lot of discussion about dear Fred, especially with my parents who knew him for decades. I won't forget about you!
I did walk at night. The moon is almost full. Although not too high in the sky, it did throw reflected sunlight on my path. The temps were good for this time of year but the air was humid. I didn't have the desire to go for a very long distance.
I did also manage 30 inclined pushups and a few sets with my dumbbells. Those don't add to my actifit number though. So it was just a minimal 5K for me today.
I hope your weekend was awesome.
Happy Monday to All!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
