Altcoin Daily is just one YouTube channel that made a video about this. They get lots of eyeballs on their content and they are huge Crypto Influencers so if you really want to Do Your Own Research then subscribing to them is a Must.
Two of the 3 Crypto Bills talk about stablecoins. One says the government shall not issue them.
The other (GENIUS Act)
specifies the properties a stablecoin must have.
Only Qualified issuers can create stablecoins.
Stablecoins must be backed by US Dollars or Treasury Bills with short terms. There will be annual audits to make sure these backing assets really exist.
Anti Money Laundering (AML) rules will apply.
These provisions will give everyone confidence to use stablecoins.
And why would they want to use stablecoins instead of credit cards or bank transfers?
There is a 3% fee collected by credit card companies from the merchants. Bypassing this might lower costs to consumers by 3%.
Many people are not banked but they will now have the ability to buy and sell easily.
Banks are only open during banking hours, while stablecoins can be used anywhere, any time.

Seems it does not qualify to call itself a stablecoin according to the GENIUS act, but I am not a lawyer or an accountant so I can't be sure about that.

My Activity
today was some dumbbell sets for the legs, core and upper body. I also did 42 inclined pushups with a goal to get to 50 in a row, non-stop. I can do it!
At night it was very hot out, over 80 degrees Fahrenheit. I still took a walk but just a little shorter than normal. I soaked my neck and arms with cold water before and after the walk. I managed 7K today, not bad.
