I was just out getting some things from a local supermarket and was listening to Ozzy's Boneyard on the way there and back. This is one of 4 hard and heavy rock stations in a row on Sirius Radio. Usually I'll switch between them looking for the most aggressive tunes. But I keep it on Ozzy's Boneyard lately because they are all Ozzy all the time lately. I'm a big Black Sabbath fan so it suits me fine.
On this short food run I heard a short classic Sabbath tune called St. Vitus Dance. I found it on YouTube and they made a Sabbath playlist for me! Next up is Supernaut. There are about 20 or more Heavy Metal Black Sabbath songs in this list and I'll add the entire URL here and see if PeakD embeds the whole thing.
Black Sabbath Covers
Did you know that there is a German Version of Paranoid by Black Sabbath? It is the same music but with different lyrics which are also in German. This version is called Der Hund von Baskerville and it is by a couple named Cindy und Bert. Here they are singing it (lip syncing actually) on German TV.
You are either gonna love it or hate it. I think it's pretty cool and fun!
And there is a punk version of Paranoid done by The Dickies. It's a little faster, and the vocals are a little more punk. They fit most of the verses in, in just over 2 minutes. Some of the lyrics are mangled but still, lots of fun!
The Dickies also made a cool version of Gigantor which was a very early anime about a big flying robot!
I think I'll mention our own excellent musician in here, since he also wrote about Ozzy recently, as well as
who likes aggressive music and mentioned that he liked Liquid Metal and Octane on Sirius radio recently. Check out those guys here on HIVE!
My Activity
for this weekend day was pretty much just taking my time in the air conditioned supermarket since it was in the upper 80s at night when I would have walked. So I walked in sweet cool AC instead! I just managed 6K which is OK I guess. Tomorrow might be a pool day!
Have a Happy Sunday Everyone!!! ❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️
