The first full day in Bologna. Visited quite a few different places, 1 university, 1 museum and a very tall tower. As well as food shops and general exploring.
The tower was built in 1119 and is 97 meters tall. It is part of the two towers which dominate the city. It’s twin is significantly smaller and leans quite dramatically. Ascending the tower is quite enjoyable, and watching others struggle with stairs is slightly entertaining. Getting to see the whole city from above was spectacular.
