As I've mentioned previously, my morning workout frequently includes resistance bands. I love those things. Years ago during one of my short-lived attempts to get fit I had the tubular bands with handles. Used them regularly for a while. Now I have the flat rubberband style.
(Yes, that's me in the pictures, and; yes, I spent way too much time playing with the photo collage and editing apps.)
Living in a tiny house with limited space, and being in my 60s, these bands have proven extremely useful for my workouts. There are plenty of exercises that don't require a lot of room. Even on days where I'm feeling sluggish or achey I can stretch a band for a few minutes and feel better.
I'm no expert on resistance band exercises but I love using them. I use videos and some books I have to periodically add new exercises to my repertoire. This morning is cloudy and gray. My coffee is taking forever to brew. But I got a nice session of band stretching in, topped off by some jumping jacks. I used to hate jumping jacks — too jarring — but now that I have less weight to move I can jump much better. 🐸
Later in the morning and throughout the rest of the day it was the usual homesteading chores. Did some laundry, yard work, mowing, and hauling "stuff" such as a glider I took to daughter's house for that deck we built last week.
Right before or after each break time I'd get in a few more stretches, with and without the bands. All-in-all, an easy-going day with short spurts of activity.
