It's 7 am as I'm sitting down to start on today's report, to be posted later this evening. If things go right. If the sun ever comes out enough to charge my battery bank.
But first, here's where the last three days went:
--On Sunday, Mother's Day, I did a 12 hour stint with 5 lively grandchildren and one daughter laid up after surgery. By evening I was exhausted so skipped that day's report. π±ββοΈπΈπ±π¦πΆ
--On Monday I drove into town to visit my boyfriend, Mike, who was passing through nearby. He's a truck driver. He was hauling a load of salt from North Texas down to South Texas. Got home late. Just too tired to do more than eat a quick dinner then sleep. On the plus side, during our visit I did get Mike to walk with me to a nearby store instead of hopping into my pickup to drive there. He needs to walk more. π€
--Yesterday the sky dumped so much rain that I thought any minute a fish would be knocking at my door seeking shelter. I also ended up with such limited cell service by mid-afternoon I knew I'd be skipping another day's report. Oh, I got my micro-workouts in so it wasn't an entirely lazy day listening to the storm outside my four walls. Still, most of it was spent reading or napping or futilely searching for a signal. βοΈ
Today's goal: Get stuff done. Hit 10,000. Post my Actifit Report.

Success! β Although too wet outside for garden or yard work (which I really need to do) I got lots of little projects done. From rearranging canned goods and installing hooks in the ceiling for hanging baskets to folding clothes and sweeping I kept quite busy.
Had to feed chickens, fetch tools, cook, do some dishes, and stop myself from getting too immersed in some games on my laptop too.
And in between that there was reading, and doing some intense (for me) micro-workouts -- the hourly spikes you see in the graph. As part of that I'm mastering the slow squats. I tell my thighs they'll thank me later.
In some of my reading I ran across a new-to-me type of situp called the Janda. Never heard of it before. The description in the book had me scratching my head so I went online to get a better idea of what it was and why it was so strongly recommended.
Oh my. I spent about 20 minutes trying to do one proper Janda situp. Had to use a couple of "learning cheats" for now. I plan to keep trying but at the moment it makes planks seem easy-peasy.
