Photo: dewberries ripening, squash blooming, fresh eggs, raindrops on persimmon leaves, air-drying dandelions 16 May rainy day at my house
The clouds have been going wee, wee, wee for most of the day. I was going to use a song about rain for my report title. But the first article I read used the phrase "amazing how many songs have been inspired by droplets of cloud wee." I couldn't pass that up.

During the morning there were enough breaks in the rain that I was able to pick dewberries and dandelions, feed chickens and gather eggs, and check on the (now drowning) garden veggies.
By afternoon the downpour was almost constant. Aside from alternately reading and staring at these four walls (or staring at the inside of my eyelids) I got in a handful of micro-workouts and slow squats, some almost-Janda situps, and installed a couple of pieces of trim inside the house.
Then, to amp up my activity level for the day, I embraced the weather by putting on a playlist of, yep, songs about rain. Instead of "Crying in the Rain" I got into the "Rhythm of the Rain" while also asking "Who'll Stop the Rain."
