It's been a busy month but I've still slacked off plenty. My schedule is all out of whack. Today, however, I got started on a variety of overdue homestead tasks.
Still don't have my solar panels on an adjustable stand (it's on the To Do list) so I manually moved them today. Since I'm spending so much time away from the farm lately they were way overdue for an angle adjustment to better catch the winter sun. Only two panels but they are large. Got a fair workout manhandling those things by myself.
I think the solar panel adjustments took longer than my two main homestead projects of the day: garden and chicken coop.
I told my daughter to slap me if I started looking at okra seeds in the store. While beginning garden cleanup I gathered oodles of dried okra pods. Each one holds dozens of seeds. I'll have plenty.
Cleaned up the chicken coop by scraping up the poop into a pile. It stays in there for composting and providing a little warmth but now I can open the door and find some floor.
It was a fairly productive morning out on the farm. Most of my Actifit count is from walking while doing those and other homestead chores. Still did a light workout of more formal exercises once I came over to take care of granddaughter.
