As the last case of the day, and new case to us, left with his parents, I popped my head around the door of the therapy room to see the wife frantically scribbling in her notebook.
The whole room was trashed!
"Good session?" I ventured tentatively.
"Really interesting." She replied, not even bothering to look up as she continued scribbling her case notes.
I've seen some mess in my time, but this one man, 3-year-old wrecking ball had single-handedly raised the bar out of sight!
The only saving grace was that there were no visible bodily fluids, but I'd already decided to go full tilt on the Dettol just in case.
As the official, 'voluntary' cleaner, it usually takes me an hour to clean the whole clinic but I spent an hour and a half just putting stuff back together, into baskets and boxes and back onto shelves, although to be fair, I did have a crafty five minutes playing with finger poppers!
Never mind. We were going out last night for the wife's birthday instead of travelling back to Bangkok and we have a full weekend off, so all is good.
It won't last, however. I know I should be happy, but as we've been so fortunate with work and don't have a free space available during the week, I see Saturdays, and then Sundays being used for the overflow.
Much better and ready for Monday morning. At least I got a huge step total!
Wishing everyone a happy and healthy weekend.
Best wishes
