The weather cleared and it got really nice in the late afternoon so I headed down to the park and played a few practice rounds. I did four nine hole rounds for thirty six holes total.
I made par on the last round but my scores were not all that good. I ended up throwing the Tern disc out of bounds twice with a little issue with the wind. It ended up underneath someone's truck and I had to reach way under there after laying on the street. It was a good thing it was not a low car or I might not have been able to reach that far. I did not bring my disc reaching tool this evening and was just playing with three discs. If I had my full bag with me I would have been throwing something a bit more stable into the wind.
I was playing with my new (to me) flexible Gumbputt too and making some pretty nice putts with it. It sticks to the basket or ground very nicely. It is not the best in the wind but I have other putters like the Harp for that.
One of the flowers leaves was turning orange and it looked interesting to me:
It has been a pretty relaxing evening for me but a noisy one. Sounds like there is a lot of activity out there tonight.
