I played my favorite eighteen hole disc golf course this morning with a friend. I think I scored around a plus three for the round. But I lost the Sidewinder disc that I found yesterday.
It was not as stable as I initially thought it was and I threw it a bit too hard on a backhand line and turned up and headed out towards the river. My friend and I both thought it hit the water but it was close to the shore if it did.
We spotted a disc out deep in the water and thought that the current had taken it out there. I figured I could get it after the round was over.
I waded out in the river and got the disc but it was not the one that I had lost. There was no name on it so I gave it to my friends. It was not one that I typically throw much and I had one like it already. (In hind sight maybe I should have kept it for using on hole eight.)
Here's a view out towards the river near hole eight:
There is a disc way out in the water but you would be hard pressed to see it in the photo.
Here's a flow chart of my process on throwing discs on hole eight:
Maybe since I've thought about my process in depth I won't shank into the river so much. (I'd hope so but it never seems to work out that way, LOL) :D
